The SCT series are high-performance testers for certifying and evaluating copper and fiber cabling installations. The SCT Series are unmatched for flexibility with improved device features including 1/4 VGA color display, USB & serial ports; compact flash, secure digital, multimedia card storage, unit-to-unit audio and 64 Mb of internal memory.
The SCT series covers two models, the SCT1500 which allows testing and certification of copper ethernet up-to category 6/class E and the SCT2000 which allows testing and certification of copper ethernet to category 7/class F.
Both models also support testing and certification of single and multi mode fiber optic cable, with the optional adaptor, making the requirement for seperate instruments redundant. Additionally, the SCT2000 also supports testing of alien crosstalk, with the optional adaptor, for certification above category 6/class E.
